RYU HYEDU (b. 1978, Seoul) is a visual artist based in Seoul.


She received her BFA from Hansung University in Seoul and later moved to Germany, where she lived and worked for nine years, developing her artistic and conceptual practice.


In 2011, she obtained her Diplom and was awarded the Meisterschülerin title under Prof. Henk Visch at the University of Fine Arts Münster.


Her work investigates fundamental questions of human existence, focusing on the dynamics of collapse, fragmentation, and transformation within the structures of consciousness.


She currently lives and works in Seoul.
